Authorized Warranty Delivery Partner (AWDP) Frequently Asked Questions

How do I become an AWDP?
In order to become an HP Authorized Warranty Delivery Partner (AWDP), you must fill out the appropriate application with HP. Visit http://partner.americas.hp.com/partner/applyPart.html to do so.

How do I renew my contract with HP?
If you have an existing HP agreement that needs to be renewed, please log onto the HP Partnership website and have an officer at your company complete the contract renewal documents. Applying as a brand new contract (if you are a current partner) may delay the renewal of your current agreement.

How do I maintain my AWDP status?
To be certified as an HP Authorized Warranty Delivery Partner (AWDP), you must satisfy one of the following conditions on a yearly basis:

1. Product Sales Volume – Purchase from HP (or HP Authorized first-tier or second-tier distributors) $50,000 of any HP Personal Systems (such as HP Business PCs or HP Commercial Notebooks) Imaging and Printing products (such as LaserJet printers, DeskJet printers or HP DesignJet Large Format printers), Network and Storage products and HP ProLiant Industry Standard Servers.

Note: HP products and supplies must be purchased for resale purposes from HP, or HP Authorized first-tier or second-tier distributors only. Sales transactions must be in the last 12 months (from the present date) in order to be included.

OR;

2. Parts Purchase Volume – Purchase from HP $7,500 of HP Spare Parts for any Business or Commercial Personal Systems products, Imaging and Printing products or Network and Storage products.

Note: HP Spare Parts must be purchased either directly from HP Parts Direct Ordering web site at http://partsdirect.hp.com/ and/or from HP Channel Services Network web site at http://www.hp.com/partners/csn. Sales transactions must be in the last 12 months (from the present date) in order to be included.

When can I purchase from Parts Now!?
You may purchase HP parts from Parts Now! at any time, but they will not count towards these purchase levels.

How can I find out how much I’ve ordered from HP?
If you are an HP Authorized Warranty Delivery Partner (AWDP), you can view your purchases on the HP Partnership website by following these simple directions:

  1. Click here to go to the HP partnership website.
  2. Click on the 'Enter Site' button on the left side of the screen using your HP Partnership website ID and password.
  3. (If you do not know your ID and password for the HP site, you must contact HP. Parts Now! does not have this information.)
  4. Once you have logged in, click on the 'Support' link on the left side of the page.
  5. In the middle of the page, find the 'authorized warranty delivery partner (AWDP) program' section and click 'commercial products awdp program.'
  6. To see your detailed report of parts purchased, under 'Tools and Resources,' click on 'awdp Service Parts Purchases' and enter in the date range for which you would like to view your parts purchases.

Why can’t my purchases from Parts Now! count toward my certification as an AWDP?
HP’s new program, implemented on March 1, 2003, does not allow Parts Now! or any other vendor’s purchases to count towards AWDP levels.
